Four Places Coming (soon!) to Bartlett, IL

Several new places are coming soon to Bartlett that benefit residents and their visitors. Here are four that many are looking forward to seeing open their doors. Visit the Village of Bartlett website to view Current Development Projects in the Village.

  1. Aldi in Streets of Bartlett
Residents have been asking for another grocery store in the village since Dominick’s on Stearns Road closed in 2013 (yes, 10 years ago!). The Village contacted grocery stores for years to find one to come to Bartlett. Aldi decided to construct a brand-new building in the Streets of Bartlett after several incentives from the village. Construction is set to begin in August (which could change) and takes about six months.
  2. MORE Brewing (Opened June 2023)
A long-time coming business that many residents can’t wait to see open is More Brewing. This will be More’s third location behind Villa Park and Huntley. This building is different than their other locations in that it is being built from the ground up. The new building will not only be brewing beer, but will also have Bartlett’s first rooftop for people to enjoy food and beverages. The brewery is scheduled for a summer 2023 opening.
  3. The Grasslands Subdivision at Route 59 and West Bartlett Road
As the intersection of Route 59 and West Bartlett Road gets a must needed upgrade from IDOT, the Northwest corner will be home to many new Bartlett residents once the Grasslands by DR Horton is built. The community features 81 single-family lots, 60 active adult ranch homes, and 90 active adult duplexes, a 116-unit townhome neighborhood, and includes bike trails and parks.
  4. Bartlett Automotive Mall
Bartlett’s first car dealership is currently under construction off of Lake Street on land previously owned by the village. The new Hyundai and Genesis dealership purchased the land that was a former RV dealership. The automotive mall is using the east side of the land (east of Moretti’s) as car parking and water detention. When finished, the Hyundai dealership will be 55,000 square feet and the Genesis dealership 18,000 square feet. Car dealerships provide an excellent source of sales tax for villages.
