Village staff, the mayor, and the village board are excited to bring a new Aldi grocery store to the Streets of Bartlett. We know residents were looking to attract another grocery store and it has been a top priority for the village.
Currently, the store is scheduled to break ground in August 2023 with an anticipated opening in January 2024.
The Village and Board offered several incentives to secure the new grocery store. During meetings, commissioners and board members asked if some building exteriors could be improved to provide better aesthetics to the surrounding area. Aldi was able to agree to make the changes so the building fits in well with the surrounding businesses.
