The Grand Opening celebration for the new Aldi store in Bartlett, IL will be held on February 1, 2024 and open to the public immediately after the completion of the ceremony.
Initially, the store was hoping to open a week earlier, but there was a modification to the product layout and graphics that are being used in a national rollout.
After years of looking for another grocery store to fill the vacancy of one that left in 2013, the Village and Board were able to offer incentives such as sales tax rebates. Aldi showed interest in this specific spot in the village. I fully supported the infrastructure grant and tax rebate in order to bring Aldi to our village.
It was just about 5 months ago that construction began on the store. Here is what it looked like when groundbreaking began.
I look forward to seeing residents frequent the new store and I support the continued improvements in our downtown area through planning and incentives.
