Aldi grocery store opens in February 2024. The Village sought out a grocery store for nearly 10 years after Dominick’s closed off of Route 59. Through several negotiations (and incentives) with Aldi and the owner of Streets of Bartlett, a brand new Aldi building finally came to fruition.
Brewster Creek TIF, established in 1999, reaches its final year of its term. Equalized assessed value of the property within the TIF increased from $3.1 million to $91.9 million during its life.
The Village and Board push to expand Bartlett’s Holiday tree lighting adds horse-drawn carriage rides, music, food trucks, reindeer and a Cocoa Crawl.
