What It Takes: Bringing MORE Brewery to Bartlett

MORE Brewing is now open in downtown Bartlett, IL! Residents and craft beer aficionados have been in lines out the door ever since the grand opening on June 30, 2023. The wait for the grand opening is finally over, but just what did it take to bring MORE to downtown Bartlett?

During the early conversations, I was serving on the Economic Development Commission and remember being excited at the prospect of having a brewery in downtown Bartlett. What began as conversations, turned into planning, and followed by action. Although everyone wanted to see the brewery come to fruition sooner, the pandemic in 2020 added more time to the project. However, our village board was able to extend the time for MORE to begin building as we knew the importance of this business to the sustainable growth of our downtown.
